I can't even begin to describe how much I enjoyed Emily In Paris. I watched the entire series in one day because I actually could not stop.

Brief synopsis: Emily Cooper a social media guru from Chicago is relocated to Paris, France to help Savoir, a marketing firm to increase their social media presence to promote the brands they represent. NO MORE SPOILERS.

So let me break down why you NEED to get a Netflix account and watch this:

FASHION

First of all, the fashion in this show is just impeccable. The outfits are so well put together and tether such a fine line between just enough and too much. The costume designer really outdid herself because each character's outfits were strategically selected and adds to much to the development of each character.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

Which brings me to character development - Darren Star and all the writers/producers managed to develop each and every character in a way that does not feel rushed despite how short each episode is. By the end of the season, you can almost predict how each character will respond to each situation because of how well you get to know everyone.

BRINGS THE DRAMA

A great show is one that has you screaming in excitement and laughing out loud to the point you need to pause to recompose your sanity. The drama is fast paced and there isn't much filler content, and in just about every episode there are moments that overwhelm you with emotion. Emily is Paris is packed with just the right amount of drama where it isn't too cringe but still the effect we're all looking for.

LUCAS BRAVO

Um, if he isn't enough to convince you to watch this show I don't know if I have any other cards. I am convinced this man is about to blow up on the global stage. My sister has such peculiar and picky taste in men and she even agreed Lucas Bravo, who plays Gabriel, Emily's love interest is DREAMY. He gets better looking the more you watch him seriously... Doesn't make any sense, but you'll understand once you watch it.

PARIS

There is something really magical about any show being filmed in a place you've only heard about on the internet but have never been. The scenary and the cinematorgraphy in this series is so well done and beautiful. I've never been to Paris but the way the scenes were shot makes me want to move there just to sit in those cute cafes and observe life happen around me.

Overall, I just want to say I watched this series over 3 times already and I cannot get enough. I really think despite all the bad press it has gotten about it being stereotypical and an inaccurate depiction of Parisian life, it is a good story filled with laughs and heartfelt moments.
